What to Expect

YOU CAN EXPECT:

To be expected.  Our First Impressions Team will be ready to welcome you to Skyline Church from the parking lot to your seat.  The people of Skyline will likely do everything they can to make you feel right at home.  We can’t help it! We love to love and you should know how honored we are to have you be our guest.

YOU CAN EXPECT:

To be fed, both spiritually and physically. It is our pleasure to provide refreshments consisting of coffee, bagels, doughnuts, juices, and chocolate milk for the entire family.

YOU CAN EXPECT:

To see people of all ages from all walks of life.  You are welcome just as you are.  When you come to Skyline Church you won’t be judged for the clothes you have on, or anything else for that matter. The only rule we have is “No Perfect People Allowed”.

YOU CAN EXPECT:

That you’re most prized possessions, your children, will become prized possessions to us as soon as you check them in. Your kiddos will experience the same quality of sermon that we receive, except on their level. ARC is not a daycare; it’s a fun, structured, learning environment at an age appropriate level. Expect to turn down the stereo on the way home, because they will want to tell you all about it.

YOU CAN EXPECT:

That there is a venue designed for students of all ages, whether it be with our “Area 678”(designed for students in grades 6, 7, or 8) that meets onsite each Sunday morning or “Crossroads”(designed for youth in grades 9-12) that meets on Sunday evenings.  They will also experience an age appropriate sermon guaranteed to shatter their view of church being boring or irrelevant.

YOU CAN EXPECT:

A worship experience that is second to none. We are so blessed to have such a talented and passionate worship team that sings relevant and inspiring music. It is almost impossible not to experience the presence of God through our music at Skyline. With the combination of the coffee and doughnuts, the worship team, and the presence of God, you won’t be able to stand still during our worship service.  If you don’t believe us, check out our Worship Pastor’s website @ http://chrishabermehl.com/

YOU CAN EXPECT:

Teaching that is encouraging, challenging, and applicable. Pastor Lance does an incredible job presenting the Bible in a way that is both understandable and relevant to our culture. He is also real. He is not afraid to share both his successes and failures from his faith journey. He is passionate about people and desires that everyone grasp the amazing things God desires for our lives.

YOU CAN EXPECT:

That you will not be embarrassed by being asked to stand up, raise your hand publicly, or to give money as a guest of Skyline. We want you relax and enjoy the service with no pressure. We also value your opinion on what we could do to improve or what we did well during your experience. You can do this by commenting on your “communicationcard”or by taking the survey on this website (link). We will take your comments to heart as we strive toward excellence in all we do.

YOU CAN EXPECT:

To meet Pastor Lance and/or Pastor Scott. Our pastors make themselves available to answer any questions you may have and they enjoy getting to know new people. If you are a guest at Skyline for the first time, you will receive an awesome gift package that includes a hand written letter and, well, you’ll have to come in person to know the rest; we don’t want to spoil the surprise.
